Weekly Sales Highlight – Great Early Wins!

Our sales force has seen some great wins in a very short period of time. Yesterday, we added a new customer, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital part of Piedmont Healthcare an 11 hospital health system. They ordered our OMNI-STAT 3g Granules and the OMNI-STAT 2/3 x 4 3/4 Gauze for the ER. Great job to our Atlanta team on introducing this product to the ER and getting an order placed so quickly.

Last week OMNI-STAT & Celox were both approved by VAC at Regional Medical Center, a rural independent hospital in South Carolina in less than two months from being introduced to the facility. Our product offered significant cost savings compared to their existing modalities for bleeding control and they see their fair share of gunshot and stab wounds. I look forward to receiving our first order from them. Great job to the team in South Carolina for this formulary win!

There is also a trial now underway at Cleveland Clinics main hospital. The product was introduced to a vascular surgeon who is looking to replace the use of Surgicel in certain procedures where indicated.

This week Celox was also on display at SOMA in North Carolina. SOMA is the Special Operations Medics Association and their Scientific Assembly Meeting was held at the Convention Center. The main reasons the special ops medics carry Celox are first, that it is recommended by the CoTCCC (Committee for Tactical Combat Casualty Care) for hemorrhage control on the battlefield and second, it’s ability to work independent of the clotting cascade which is critical when casualties are suffering from TIC (Trauma Induced Coagulopathy’s) and can become hypothermic.
